When is the Instagram feed coming?
We are building it right now and cannot give you a fixed date. Join the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as it is available.
What happens to my email address?
We only use it to let you know when the Instagram feed is available. With the link you get after signing up, you can remove yourself again, and we delete your entry.
Do I need my Instagram password?
No. You only enter the username of your public Instagram account. You don't have to log in to Instagram for this.
Does my visitors' browser connect to Instagram?
Not when the widget loads. Widget Fox fetches your public posts itself and stores the images on servers in the EU. Your visitors load the widget only from there. Instagram only opens when someone clicks on a post.
When do new posts show up in the widget?
Widget Fox syncs your posts on its own, daily on the Pro plan and weekly on the Free plan. You don't have to do anything.
Can I already use Google reviews?
Yes. The widget for Google reviews is already available, with the same plans.
What the widget cannot do
So you know what you are getting into, here are the limits of Widget Fox for the Instagram feed.
- Public accounts only
- Widget Fox only shows posts from public Instagram accounts. A private account cannot be connected.
- No hashtag feeds
- The widget shows the posts of one account, not posts for a hashtag.
- Up to 12 posts
- The widget shows the 12 latest posts of your account, no older ones.
- New posts do not appear right away
- A new post does not appear right away, but with the next sync: daily on the Pro plan, weekly on the Free plan.
- Your website must allow scripts
- To embed the widget, your website has to allow your own HTML code with a script. Without that, the widget cannot be embedded.
